| Eligibility |
| Recruitment is held at the beginning of each semester. Students are eligible to join depending on their class standing. Any student who is in his or her second semester of college may join a fraternity or sorority. Please be advised, first-time, first-semester freshmen are not eligible to join until Spring semester. Additionally, you must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA for Sorority recruitment and a 2.35 GPA for Fraternity recruitment. |

| Cost |
| Joining a Greek organization carries a financial commitment. Each organization is self-supporting through the dues paid by each member. While student participate in the recruitment process, they are encouraged to ask about the financial obligation of membership for each organization, as it does vary depending on the organization. |

| Being Safe |
| At Chico State, our number one priority is student safety. We continually educate students on ways to be safe, make wise choices and take care of one another while still having fun. Chico State works hand in hand with law enforcement and students in order to enforce alcohol and hazing policies in accordance with California State Law. |
